Fall asleep to the sound of the waves in a comfortable bed, and wake to the peace and quiet on Styrsö. Start the day with a walk around the island then stop at the kiosk and buy breakfast. The tent is excusively equipped with its own wood fired stove, axe and chopping block. We only hire out three glamping tents and there’s plenty of room between them.

There’s a double bed and two single beds in two of the tents and the third tent has a large doublebed and 2 chairs. The tents have pouffes so you can sit indoors and eat or play games if it rains. You’ll make food outdoors and if you haven’t got your own camping cookset/plates/mugs you can book them as extras. Quilts/pillows, blanket and sheep skins are provided. You can also cook food on the beach over an open fire, or with our charcoal bbq. Charcoal can be purchased in the kiosk. A muurikka stove is available to use for a small extra charge.  

You have access to our nice natural toilets and a washroom where you can brush your teeth and wash off. Here you can also do the dishes soap and dish brush is provided. There are also showers, but all islands in the archipelago have a shortage of water during the summer. During these periods we will refer you to the sea. You can buy salt water soap and shampoo etc. in our ‘I can do it myself’ kiosk. Here we also sell ice cream, sweets, drinks and coffee etc.

There’s no wifi or electricity in the tents – maybe now could be the time to try out a digital detox for real. Do you fancy paddling a kayak or SUP? Then just borrow one from the beach, and if you need any tips ask one of our summer hosts. Would you rather read a book? On the beach and in the woods you’ll find bohemian hammocks to lie back in. A wood fired sauna and wood fired hot tub are also available. The summer host will help you with heating the sauna and the hot tub.


You can also play beach volleyball, beach football and other games, or just have fun on our obstacle course and slackline. There are plenty of things to do… and yet despite all the activity it’s always a peaceful place.
