Welcome to the magical nature on Styrsö, a small, car-free island outside Strömstad, to stay or have a conference. With us at Styrsö Hostel you will experience eco-friendly accommodations with opportunities for a variety of outdoor activities. All our residences have wonderful ocean views, and there is a beautiful, sandy beach only a stone’s throw away. Inside the bay you are protected from the prevailing southwesterly winds and the sunsets are magical.
Styrsö Hostel is closed from October through April 2025 as we renovate our rooms.
Glamping and tree suites are bookable from June 1 – September 31. These are easily booked online!
The hostel is bookable from May 1 – October 31.
Weekends are not bookable online as we usually have groups that rent the entire hostel. If you are interested in renting a weekend, please email us or call us!
The following weekends are unbooked spring 2025: week 18, 20, 21, 22, 23 (partly), 24 and 25 (partly)
